AP World History is designed to challenge the highly capable student.  The course is geared toward preparing students to take the College Board AP World History Test during the Spring of each school year.  The major focus of the class will be the study of processes by which the world moved toward a tightly integrated whole over the last millennium.  Major themes of the course include: the interaction of major societies; change and continuity across periods of history; impact of technology and demographics on people and the environment; major features of societies; cultural developments; intellectual developments; political organizations; nation states.
