The objective of this course is to provide the 9th grader with knowledge in the physical sciences.  Topics explored in this class include: motion, energy, introductory chemistry, light, sound, electricity, earth science, plate tectonics, weather and astronomy.  The student will use basic laboratory techniques and develop the skills needed to obtain and analyze data.  This course is designed to provide a strong foundation for future classes in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
